COVID 19 wastewater report for September 2023 indicate high levels of COVID in the San Jose Community. Masking, handwashing, and staying up to date with vaccinations and boosters is the best prevention!
If your child tests positive for COVID, please isolate your child for 5 days. If your child is fever free and symptoms are mild/resolving they may return to school and resume regular routines. Students are encouraged to wear their masks for 10 days.
This page will provide an update of the number of COVID cases by grade span reported to the school. This data is being shared to help alert you to potential close contact exposure. If you think your child may be a close contact to a positive case, they do not need to quarantine. They may continue coming to school if they are fever free. Monitor for symptoms and test within 3-5 days of exposure. Students are encouraged to mask for 10 days if they are a close contact.
